 A munkahelyemen a tévében valami UFO-s műsor ment, mikor beléptem. Éppen gabonakörökkel foglalkoztak.
Az a baj az UFO-hívőkkel, hogy olyanok, mint valami vallás. Nem lehet meggyőzni őket hogy nincs igazuk. A filmben is, egy gabonakör-komplexummal kapcsolatban nyomozkodtak, és amikor egy idő után két férfi bejelentette - és be is mutatta - hogyan készültek, csak legyintettek: kizárt, hogy úgy történt, középkorú, idősödő emberek képtelenek erre. De most komolyan, képzeld csak el, milyen az már, hogy "a Gábor Dénesen diplomáztam paleoasztronautikából" és erre a személyzetis unottan rálegyint hogy "á, ott AKÁRKI kaphat diplomát és különben is, még valamirevaló dogon nyelvű ufóészlelési térképeik sincsenek". Ez nem azt jelenti, hogy nem vállalom, hanem azt, hogy egyetértek, csak éppen most nem tudtam volna úgy megfogalmazni ugyanazt a gondolatot. És azon csodálkozom, hogy akkor hogyan?
Nem vagyok egyszerű eset, mi?
 Vannak olyan postok, amiben kicsit benne van, hogy ismerem pár olvasómat, és ezek főleg nekik szólnak. Vagy inkább nekik is, mint mikor valami baráttal félszavakból is, és neki, vele egy-egy szó egészen mást, sokkal többet jelent. És persze, ez is alkalomszerű.
 A blogban leírt dolgokat szóban nem tudnám elmondani. Szóban esetlen vagyok, már ha magamról kell beszélnem. Ebben a témában nem vagyok elég összeszedett. Leírva viszont összességében látom, amit elmondanék, az elejétől a végéig (bár nincs olyan, hogy eleje meg vége semminek... ezért is lehet itt nagyon gyakran "..."-al találkozni. Minden történet valahol a közepén kezdődik...) és egészében tudom átszerkeszteni, ha nem vagyok vele elégedett. Szóban viszont... a kimondott szavak egymásból következnek és néha rossz logika szerint épül fel a mondanivalóm, másfelé, mint szeretném. Itt ezt nagyjából elkerülhetem.
 Egy blog ezen felül lehet valamiféle üzenet, nyom, amit az író maga után akar hagyni - már amennyire lehet abban bízni, hogy megmarad.
És a visszajelzések, a kommentek. Néha számít, a legtöbbször azért nem. Végül is, elsősorban magamnak írom, a gondolataimat rendezendő. Azért jól esik egy-egy pozitív visszajelzés, hogy más is hasonlóan gondol, érez dolgokat. Mert mindenki egyedül van.
Igen, egyedül, bent ül a fejében, a többi csak külsőség. Kimondott szavainkkal, gesztusainkkal, tetteinkkel próbáljuk megmutatni, kifejezni azt, akik belül vagyunk - vagy éppen álarc mögé rejteni, kinek-kinek igénye szerint.
Ezért, ha nem írhatom le, amit szeretnék, akkor nem sok értelme van az egésznek. Ha szűrni kell, azon tanakodva, mit gondolhatnak az olvasók, és ennek megfelelően kanyarítani a szöveget, nem ér semmit az egész. Akkor inkább abba kell hagyni, és egy valódi naplót írni. Papírrra, tollal vagy ceruzával (a grafitot ajánlanám, az sosem bomlik le, csak a lappal együtt).
És jól elrejteni mindenki elöl.

A blog - unless it is professional - is similar to a diary. It is not a substitute, but rather a gap-filling activity. It is not written in place of something, but as an explanation.

In addition, it may also serve somewhat exhibitionist needs, as long as it is not a "showcase blog", i.e. honest and not exclusively aimed at the outside world, in an impression-seeking, self-affirming manner.

I try to describe what concerns me, what interests me. The style is strongly dependent on mood - and although I don't like to reread my old stuff, when it happens, I often wonder who could have written that entry?

This doesn't mean I don't agree, it means I agree, but I just couldn't have phrased the same thought that way right now. And I wonder how then?

I'm not an easy case, am I?

There are some posts that have a bit of the fact that I know a few of my readers, and they are mainly addressed to them. Or rather to them, like when you can talk to a friend in a half-word, and to him, with him, each word means something completely different, much more. And of course, this is also occasional.

I couldn't express the things written in the blog in words. I'm clumsy with words, especially when I have to talk about myself. I'm not quite collected on this topic. However, when I write them down, I can see what I would say overall, from beginning to end (although there is no such thing as a beginning and an end to anything... that's why you can often come across "..." here. Every story starts somewhere in the middle...) and I can edit it as a whole if I'm not satisfied with it. In words, however... the spoken words follow one another and sometimes what I say is built up according to bad logic, in a different direction than I would like. I can pretty much avoid this here.

A blog can also be a kind of message, a trace that the writer wants to leave behind - as far as one can trust that it will remain.

And the feedback, the comments. Sometimes it matters, most of the time it doesn't. After all, I write primarily for myself, to organize my thoughts. A positive feedback is nice because other people think and feel the same way. Because everyone is alone.

Yes, alone, it sits inside their heads, the rest is just externality. With our spoken words, gestures, and actions, we try to show and express who we are inside - or hide it behind a mask, depending on each person's needs.

Therefore, if I can't write down what I want, then there's not much point to it all. If you have to filter, wondering what readers might think, and twist the text accordingly, it's all worthless. Then you should stop and write a real diary. On paper, with a pen or pencil (I recommend graphite, it never decomposes, only with the page).

And hide it well from everyone.

 Az egyik munkatársam éppen letette a könyvet, amit olvasott, én meg - tudom, nem illik, de "még input" - beleolvastam. Valamiféle nyelvkönyvnek néztem, magyarul és angolul voltak benne kifejezések.

Megint valaki okosabb (mint én) / Someone smarter (than me) again

 Eredetileg csak érdeklődni mentem be a mobilszolgáltatóhoz, de az ügyintéző rábeszélt egy másik csomagra.

- Ráadásul ehhez vehetsz akciósan telefont is.

- Hm, és mit tudsz ajánlani?

- Itt van ez a Motorola G14. Eléggé alapkészülék, de a tiédnél sokkal jobb.

- Köszi, ezt még átgondolom, lehet hogy visszajövök

Bírom a Motorolát, sokáig használtam egy RAZR "pengét" - fémből vannak, nem olvadnak el az érintésemtől.

 Megnéztem a készüléket. Picit kisebb mint a mostani (ami "phablet") de tényleg van benne mindenféle használható funkció. (És rengeteg felesleges - TEMU, ne már!!!! - de ez csak később derült ki :D)

 Másnap meglátogattam a helyi kirendeltséget - előzőleg a munkahelyem mellettiben jártam. És jött a meglepetés: nem is annyiba kerül az előfizetés, hanem drágább (rendben, így is megéri, de akkor is!) és "természetesen" akciósan sem lehet készüléket vásárolni hozzá. Pffff… pedig úgy beleéltem magam.

Na jó, újabb váltás, még drágábbra… az első ügyintézőt meg, remélem, közben elvitte a dögvész.

 Aztán megérkezett a drága. Azonnal rendelnem kellett hozzá valami páncélozott tokot, annyira kis törékenynek néz ki. Bár a leírások szerint "belépő szint", de már harmadik napja folyamatosan frissít, beállít, telepít és mindenféle infókat dobál fel.

 Azt hiszem elnevezem Dobby-nak. Annyira az életem része szeretne lenni, folyamatosan segítséget ajánl fel mindenben. Komolyan, mint egy házimanó, miután felszabadítottad és megajándékoztad egy teljes szekrénnyi vadonatúj ünnepi ruhával.

Selyemből.

 Pluszban, a készülék tud rengeteg, kéz- és ujjmozdulattal végezhető irányítást. Ha megfordítod kétszer oda-vissza, fényképez. Megérinted ITT, csinálsz egy ujjmozdulatot OTT, egy ujjal, kettővel, hárommal.

Úgy érzem, a végére, mire mindet megtanulom, pusztán pár kézmozdulattal csatlakozni tudok majd bármilyen kommunikációs hálózathoz. Telefon nélkül.

…vagy felvesznek Roxfordba. Esetleg a Durmstrangba, ott úgyis jobb szakokat lehet felvenni.

I love Motorola, I used a RAZR "blade" for a long time - they're made of metal, they don't melt when I touch them.

I looked at the device. It's a little smaller than the current one (which is a "phablet") but it really has all kinds of useful functions. (And a lot of unnecessary ones - TEMU, no more!!!! - but that only became clear later :D)

The next day I visited the local branch - I had previously been to the one near my workplace. And here comes the surprise: the subscription doesn't even cost that much, but it's more expensive (okay, it's still worth it, but still!) and "of course" you can't buy a device for it on sale either. Pffff... but I got used to it.

Well, another change, even more expensive... and the first administrator, I hope, got killed by the plague in the meantime.

Then the 'sweetie' arrived. I had to order some kind of armored case for it right away, it looks so small and fragile. Although the description says "entry level", it's been constantly updating, configuring, installing and throwing up all kinds of information for the third day.

I think I'll name it Dobby. It wants to be a part of my life so much, it constantly offers to help with everything. Seriously, like a house-elf after you freed it and gifted it with a whole closet of brand new holiday clothes.

Plus, the device has a ton of hand and finger gestures. If you flip it back and forth twice, it takes a picture. You tap HERE, you do a finger gesture THERE, with one finger, two, three.

I feel like by the end, by the time I learn them all, I'll be able to connect to any communication network with just a few hand gestures. Without a phone.

...or they'll hire me at Hogwarts. Or maybe to Durmstrang, where you can get into better classes .anyway.

 A kávé egy rituálé neve volt (lásd: fika) amikor a férfiak eredetileg vörösbort ittak (a fekete ital neve egyébként "mokka"), különféle társas érintkezések, baráti találkozók, üzletkötések és  hasonlók alkalmával.
Csak később jött az iszlám és megtiltotta az alkoholt.

…szóval aki a reggelt egy felessel kezdi, tulajdonképpen közel áll az eredeti értelmezéshez :D

...so anyone who starts the morning with a "half" (schnaps) is actually close to the original interpretation :D
