Épp időben / Just In Time (EN)

 Karácsony előtt úgy döntöttem, hogy legalább az egyik függőségemet meg kellene szüntetnem. Azóta nem iszok kólát.

Teljesen jó volt az időzítés, pár napja ezt találtam a boltban:

Se cukor, se koffein, tele édesítőkkel - amikről egyre-mársa derül ki, hogy mennyire egészségtelenek és sokkal jobban hajlamosítanak a cukorbetegségre, mint a cukor.

De legalább fekete, szóval félhomályban nem is látszik a palack.

…lehet hogy valahol ők is szégyellik.

Before Christmas I decided that I should at least break one of my addictions. I haven't had a Coke since then.

The timing was perfect, a few days ago I found this in the store:

No sugar, no caffeine, full of sweeteners - which are increasingly being shown to be unhealthy and much more likely to cause diabetes than sugar.

But at least it's black, so you can't see the bottle in the dim light.

...maybe they're also ashamed it somewhere.

A másik, hogy a Coca Cola egy picit az USA jelképe. Az ötvenes években például cikkeztek itt a "kokakóla mámorban fetrengő amerikai fitalok"-ról. És most, amit az elnökük művel… azzal egyáltalán nem tudok azonosulni. Nem nagy dolog, de ez most az én tiltatkozásom jelképe is egy kicsit.

The other thing is that Coca Cola is a bit of a symbol of the USA. For example, in the 1950s, there were articles here about "American youths wallowing in a Coca-Cola intoxication." And now, what their president is doing... I can't identify with that at all. It's not a big deal, but it's also a bit of a symbol of my protest.
